Contrary to popular belief, Valentine's Day is Javert's favorite holiday.
In my Creative Writing class we were asked to write really cliche sonnets about love to keep with the theme of Valentine's Day. I decided to make mine cliche to the point of being creepy, and couldn't help but draw inspiration from Javert. And "Javentine" is too brilliant a word to ignore. And I wanted another excuse to put pinstripes (AND HEARTS!) on Javert. As crappy as it is, the sonnet was well received in class.
